Data Deletion Request
In accordance with GDPR Article 17 ("Right to Erasure") and Argentina's Personal Data Protection Act (Law 25.326)
What happens when you request deletion
- 1We receive your request and verify your identity within 72 hours.
- 2All personal data associated with your account — including any connected Instagram profile data, Story insights, and Meta access tokens — is permanently deleted within 30 days, and your Instagram authorization is revoked.
- 3Some data may be retained for legal obligations (tax records: 7 years) as required by law.
- 4You will receive confirmation once the deletion is complete.
Requests sent through Meta
Meta can also send Storyield a cryptographically signed deletion request from your Facebook or Instagram settings. Storyield validates the signature, returns a confirmation code and a status URL, and queues the verified request for completion within 30 days.
You can also request deletion directly by emailing info@storyield.com from your account email address, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and, if applicable, your Instagram username so we can locate your data. We will acknowledge your request within 72 hours and permanently delete your personal data — including your account details, any connected Instagram profile data, Story insights, and Meta access tokens (which also revokes Storyield's access to your Instagram account) — within 30 days, as required by GDPR Article 17 and Argentina's Law 25.326. Records we must keep to meet legal obligations (e.g. billing and tax records) are retained only for the legally required period.
